CHOICE TRAILERS LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY
1. Scope of Warranty
1.1 THREE Year Pro-rated Structural Coverage
Choice Trailers ("Choice") provides a 3-yearstructural warranty for the main inner structural beams running front to rear across the length of the trailer, including cross members and outer rails of the main deck.
Coverage Details:
- The warranty covers the cost of repair or replacement of the covered equipment in the following prorations:
- 100%coverage in Year 1
- 60%coverage in Year 2
- 30%coverage in Year 3
- This warranty is non-transferable.
- The warranty period begins on the earlier of:
- The date the authorized dealer sells the trailer to the customer; or
- Six(6) months after the date the trailer has been invoiced to the dealer.
- A signed warranty registration form must be submitted to Choice Trailers within ten (10) days of the first retail sale for the warranty to be valid. A copy of the original bill of sale must be included with the warranty registration form.
- All covered equipment will be repaired or replaced, at Choice’s option, provided such equipment is returned, at the customer’s expense, to Choice’s facility in Katy, Texas or a repair facility pre-approved by Choice in writing.
- Any damage caused by improper use or operation inconsistent with the Operator’s Manual will not be covered.
1.2 ONE Year Paint Coverage
Choice provides a 1-year warranty covering defects in paint application and adhesion to the structure of the trailer.
Coverage Exclusions:
- The warranty excludes scratching or chipping on surfaces caused by normal wear and tear, abuse, improper care, abrasive polishes, cleaning agents, heavy-duty pressure washing, accidents, shipping damages, and paint deterioration.
1.3 ONE Year Parts Coverage
Choice-manufactured components are covered for one (1) year. This includes flip ramps, boom well covers, and wheel covers.
Coverage Exclusions:
- Any parts or equipment not manufactured by Choice, are excluded and are subject to the original manufacturer’s warranty.
2. Warranty Policy Conditions
2.1 Exclusive Warranty
This document contains the sole warranty from Choice. No other warranties, either express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are made by Choice and are specifically excluded and disclaimed.
2.2 Warranty Coverage Start
The limited warranty coverage begins on the earlier of:
- The date the dealer sells the trailer to the customer;
- Six (6) months after the date Choice invoices the trailer to the dealer.
2.3 Warranty Period
Once started, the warranty period cannot be paused or interrupted.
2.4 Non-Transferable Warranty
This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.
2.5 Repair or Replacement
Choice shall have sole discretion whether to repair or replace a trailer or any part thereof.
2.6 Structural Warranty Claims
Claims must include the most recent third-party scale tickets to verify compliance with weight requirements.
2.7 Exclusions from Liability
Choice is not liable for damages resulting from:
- Accidents or collisions;
- Abuse, alteration, misuse, or extraordinary usage;
- Operation at speeds exceeding trailer capabilities or posted legal limits;
- Non-conformity with the Operator’s Manual;
- Overloading beyond rated capacity or exceeding concentrated load ratings;
- Natural calamities, theft, vandalism, improper site conditions;
- Improper storage, maintenance, repair, or illegal use;
- Damage from dragging the trailer on the ground.
2.8 Non-Covered Components and Maintenance
The warranty does not cover:
- Components and parts routinely replaced due to normal wear and tear, such as tires, light bulbs, brake linings, brake drums, air hoses, air lines, and exposed electrical wiring;
- Normal maintenance tasks like kit installations, tightening bolts, loose fittings, hoses, and air lines;
- Equipment installed, repaired, replaced, or altered by unauthorized parties;
- Parts, accessories, and components not manufactured or supplied by Choice.
2.9 Liability Limitation
Choice’s liability is limited to the lesser of the purchase price paid for the product or the cost to repair it. Choice is not liable for:
- Bodily injury, death, or property damage related to the manufacture, sale, or use of its products;
- Consequential damages or pecuniary losses resulting from the loss of use of the trailer, including rental or replacement equipment, lodging, fuel costs, towing charges, cargo loss or spoilage, storage fees, lost revenues, and lost profits;
- Any other incidental, consequential, or special damages, losses, or expenses.
2.10 Warranty Claim Compliance
Warranty coverage requires full compliance with the Warranty Claim terms and conditions outlined in this Policy.
